Studied Art and Design at Accrington and Rossendale College way back in the mid eighties.

From Accrington I went on to Blackpool and the Fylde College to study and graduate in Graphic Design.
​
Worked in design and marketing ever since, whilst continuing to further my skills in fine art.
​
Undertaken many art courses including graduating with distinction from London Art College in Botanical Illustration, a higher pass for my studies with the Society of Botanical Artist on their Diploma Course and
undertook a Drawing Skills course with the Open College of Arts.

An avid sketcher (especially when on holiday in warmer climates!) and enjoy sketching trips with the Lancashire Urban Sketchers.
​
Now working on a variety of commission work for various UK and overseas clients and subjects include; animals, wildlife, landscapes and botanical art. The images I create are reproduced by high profile wall art and wallcoverings manufacturers for commercial on-line retailers, greeting card publishers and other merchandise.
